Physical Therapy
Physical therapy helps to relieve back and neck pain, muscle tightness, nerve pain (for example sciatica), and sports injuries. A therapy session involves a full-body injury assessment followed by an appropriate treatment method, which can include osteopathy and joint mobilisation, deep tissue massage, electrical muscle stimulation or dry needling. Electrical muscle stimulation Post-session, rehabilitation programs and injury care advice are provided to ensure a successful long-term recovery.
Dry Needling
Dry needling helps the healing process by increasing the blood supply and nerve stimulation and helps to release muscular pressure or a strain within the muscle fibres. Thin, single-use needles are placed into myofascial trigger points, and clients feel a slight pinch during insertion.
Craniosacral Therpy
Craniosacral therapy can be used to treat conditions such as headache, migraine, tiredness, back and joint pain, strains and sprains, digestive issues, trauma and debilitating illness. This unique, gentle, light-touch therapy involves the unwinding of fascial tissue, encouraging the release of physical and psychological traumas and creating calmness within the nervous system, leading to a peaceful and more balanced state of wellbeing. Clients feel they are better able to manage the stresses and strains of everyday life and have a more positive outlook on life in general after the deep healing experience of craniosacral therapy.
Kinesiology
Kinesiology therapy can help clients with structural, nutritional and emotional needs. The therapy is often used in cases where clients present with issues such as muscle imbalances and pain, food sensitivities and intolerances, fungus, SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth), mineral imbalances, and anxiety. Kinesiology is a biofeedback technique that involves using muscle testing to investigate hidden, subconscious root causes of an ailment. A kinesiology treatment session can involve acupressure points (meridians) balancing, reflexology, nutritional investigation and sound therapy.
Bio-Energy
Bio-energy helps to release physical and emotional stress through movement, breathwork and dialogue between the client and therapist. By improving the energy flow, benefits can be seen in circulation, the immune system, and chronic pain, helping clients feel energised and more capable of dealing with everyday stressors. Clients often feel peaceful and rejuvenated after a bio-energy session.
